Each Cub Scout is a member of the Pack and of a smaller unit called a "Den." Dens are made up of either girls or boys in the same grade, which generally meet monthly with a parent volunteer Den Leader. Although Dens are single gendered, the program is the same for everyone. The Dens also meet at the monthly Pack Meetings and events. Pack Meetings and Events are for all Dens and their families.

Weston’s only BSA troop, Troop 788, has been an active member of the community in Weston CT since 1943. The Troop meets weekly Monday evenings 7:00-8:00 PM at the parish hall of Norfield Congregational Church, in Weston. There is generally at least one outdoor event each month, for example; white water rafting, snow skiing, bike riding, hiking, rock wall climbing, camping; and various community service projects. Troop 788 attends BSA’s Camp Sequassen in early July as a troop, with other weeks open for independent provisional campers.
